The True Test

In every breath, in every day,

I strive, I learn, I find my way.

Through highs and lows, my heart stays true,

For there's a greater force in view.

The hands of time may test my pace,

But still, I trust in unseen grace.

I give my best, release the rest,

And know that this is life's true test.

In giving all, I find release,

In every struggle, there's a peace.

For what is mine will surely be,

And what is not, is set free.

Yet still, I push, I will not stop,

For every fall, I'll reach the top.

But if I give all that I've got,

Then what's failure, being performed at its best shot?
