Try the new Pitch Presentation Canvas

As an entrepreneur, I am familiar with quite a lot of tools designed to help founders 'get' their startups. Among these tools, I personally like 'canvas' style tools: from Business Model Canvas to Validation Board - canvases provide simple yet smart tools designed for early stage entrepreneurs.

Hollywood and Startup Pitch Presentations

Startup presentations are short business stories which follow more-or-less the same plot and flow, in similar to many movie trailers. For example, have a look at this one:

Have you found few similarities? :) As in these trailers, I believe there's a certain presentation-screenplay composed of blocks ('components'). The usual suspects for pitch presentation components are the following:

• Trends & Opportunities
• Market analysis
• Competitive landscape
• USP (unique selling proposition)
• Status
• Business model
• Go To Market
• Funding requirements
• Team
• Vision. Contact details. Thank you.

The order of slides can be changed, of course, according to your needs (for example, some prefer having the TEAM slide as the first in order) but in general, this is the flow.

As I found myself giving more and more talks and sessions about How to Craft a Startup Presentation, I began searching the web, finding not-good-enough canvases to work with.

So I made this one.
