Tune in to a story of perseverance, creativity, and strategic vision

I love talking about the challenges and triumphs of building a technology-driven business from the ground up!

My recent podcast guest Dario Valenza started as one man with a vision and what he’s achieved is nothing short of astonishing.

His company Carbonix has developed the world’s most advanced fixed-wing aircraft to capture high-resolution data over large geographic areas and complex terrains.

As you’d imagine his journey – which actually started by developing America’s Cup yacht tech – has been fascinating. It is one is one of resilience and adaptability, marked by the fusion of his expertise in design thinking with a keen understanding of market dynamics.

If you’re building a business, this is a must-listen episode of ‘Long-term Thinking for Business Success’.

Some themes of the discussion:

  • Focusing on the "bang for the buck" when prioritising customers and markets.

  • Using a design thinking approach to problem-solving and innovation.

  • Staying focused on your goals and objectives when faced with challenges.
