Turning The Page: Short Stories For Every Mood
I wouldn't exist if I'm not a moody fellow! 'What?! Are you moody?' you wonder. Oh yes, and in fact, every one of us. We are all sacred beings, but at the same time, people of many moods. From sunshine outlook on a Monday morning (I know!) to the whisper of 'Enough!' on a Friday evening, we go through an assortment of moods, and then the weekend is reserved for some special types of moods!
Frankly, we will all be boring if we are of a still composure. Even if I had a nice beard that looks good on me, if I keep my nose straight and keep doing the same things again and again, the people around me would be dead bored of me. They might even stop talking to me! So, even if I don't feel like it, I have to show different shades of me to keep them entertained! Otherwise, I would become an anti-social!
I keep myself amused daily in two ways. My mornings are spent on software technology, working on trying to exceed my own boundaries, pushing myself to learn things - as you know it is so important to keep learning in software, and sometimes contribute a bit by working (!), and in the evening immerse myself in the artistic work of sharing my articles with my audience, and keep working on a novel and some poetry. This allows me to express my left and right side brains daily, and so I keep my composure and keep my moods balanced too!
That is why in stories also, I couldn't keep myself to one social theme or a concept, or write in the same style. In my short stories book 'A Pebble Unlistened', I have stories on an yacht owner to a ghost to a truck driver to a social media manager to a businessman to a social activist, and more! Each one comes with a different strand of character, emotions, feelings, and personality. They interact with other characters to result in spectrum of tones that you would enjoy!
