Two Nashville Restaurants Featured in Tripadvisor’s “Best of the Best” in 2024

In keeping with the theme of high-achieving restaurants in Nashville, we’d like to recognize a pair of spots that have been named among the nation’s best this year by Tripadvisor .

As part of its “Travelers’ Choice 2024 Awards Best of the Best,” which celebrate the “highest level of excellence in travel,” Tripadvisor named Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina and Etch Restaurant among its top-20 restaurants in the United States. Bourbon Steak — on the 34th floor of the JW Marriott Nashville — finished at No. 3 behind a pair of restaurants in New York City, while Etch was ranked 18th.

The Volunteer State bookended the two listings in Nashville with one more from each end of the state: Flight Restaurant and Wine Bar (Memphis) was ranked No. 9, while Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro (Townsend – 35 miles south of Knoxville) came in at No. 18.

Tripadvisor has been very keen on Nashville in 2024, already featuring three of Music City’s world-class hotels in its Travelers’ Choice Awards earlier this year.

“When you’re looking for the crème-de-la-crème, these are the places worth getting on the waitlist for,” Tripadvisor said in the report’s introduction. “Think: white tablecloths, best-in-class chefs, and unforgettable bites.”

With breathtaking views of the downtown skyline and a menu featuring the signature filet mignon along with distinct cocktails, Bourbon Steak has earned a nearly-perfect 5/5 rating on Tripadvisor. The restaurant has already drawn high praise, having previously been included among Tripadvisor’s “Top 10 Fine Dining Restaurants in the Country” and saluted by The Tennessean as one of the best restaurants in Nashville.

Etch can be found within walking distance from the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum and The Johnny Cash Museum , just steps away from Broadway and the Cumberland River. Opened by award-winning chef Deb Paquette in 2012, Etch offers guests a view into the open kitchen while enjoying an upscale menu of entrees and desserts paired with delicious wines, all part of a relaxed atmosphere perfect for any time of night.

The Nashville Stars applaud both Bourbon Steak and Etch — along with head chefs Michael Mina and Deb Paquette, and all who make the dining experience such a joy — on their most recent acclaim!
