This is great to hear when you think of New Orleans and having someone who truly cares about others and shows it in his actions, but yet Etheridge Miller has a dark side and secret that no one may know about until now.

Due to the economic times of today with so many people suffering and wanting to be heard by the government, retail stores and others, I am creating a project along with some others called "Get Up and Be Heard" which allows people to speak their mind about today's society and problems. As I was speaking to my partners about the project, one of them inquired about me speaking out as well. I was confused as to what they were referring to, but they quickly told me about how I was so afraid of that individual who threatened me and refuse to pay me for a 10 page website I created for him years ago.

I thought about it and noticed he was still in business and how he boasted on his pride in customer service and doing whatever he needed to make things right for the customer. Yet this was the same individual that refused to pay me for hours of website developing, search engine optimization, a flash intro with photo gallery and music on a 10 page website with encrypted wall protection.

This was about 14 years ago when I was a very small business but doing well in taking care of my clients. Being the internet was still new and websites were developed by html coding instead of the plug and play method today, people and businesses looked for professional website developers who know hot to make a site and have it protected against hackers.

I just came out of a divorce where I allowed my ex-wife to leave me with the financial debt. I was trying to get my life back up and running utilizing my skills and talents. I started a small business again and was being seen quickly in New Orleans for my professionalism and talent in taking care of my customers. I knew how many individuals and businesses in New Orleans worked hard for their money, so I gave great discounts to help those who came to me.

Etheridge Miller heard about me and wanted a professional website to get his auto detailing business online. I was willing to help him as a businessman and one who believed in helping people of New Orleans. I took 2 weeks to create a 10 page website for his company with the website www.platinumshinemobile.com which included a flash intro, music throughout the site and a movable slide photo gallery. I even used extreme high end search engine optimization to get his website recognized on the search engines (google, yahoo, alta vista, etc.) quicker and placed a video commercial on my you tube site to gain new customers. The website as placed on Network Solutions which was known for platform protection, firewalls and promotions as it had clients like Delta Airlines, Citibank and others.

I bought his domain name for 10 years to get him a good cost on having it for a longer period of time and had a professional website encrypted wall to protect the website from hackers.

I notified Etheridge Miller of the finished website and he stated he wanted some more changes and updates on it. Normally, website developers charge for this but I was being nice and did the updates and changes for free. I only was going to charge him $800 dollars for the website and $500 dollars for the domain name registration of 10 years. I was being very generous as I believed in helping others.

Etheridge Miller surprised me by informing me that he was refusing to pay for my time even though we signed a contract and that I needed to give him information to gain access to website and domain name immediately.

I informed him that if there was a problem I could fix it but as a business and very skilled website developer I deserved payment for my time. He simply replied to me: "So what NIGGER! I don't care what you think. I am not paying and you better give me what I asked for OR ELSE!!!"

For five years, I held his domain name waiting for him to at least pay me for that if nothing else, but he harassed me and threatened me stating I better give him his domain name as he won't ever pay me for anything. This caused me not only grief as I missed out on other clients while working on his website, but to know I made a very professional website and you tube video and marketed his site on search engines only to be threatened and never given a reason as to why he wouldn't pay me for my service. He even had other website designers contact me asking for username and password to gain access to website platform and domain name. Once I told them why I wouldn't give it to them, they stated they had no idea but he paid them to get the domain name.

I finally gave in after I grew tired of being harassed and he simply waited until the domain name was back on the market and bought it to have it added to his website which was currently under a different domain name while he waited.

To think that someone who tells others how much he cares about people and donates to charity could treat me like this simply surprised me. Others are coming to his business as they believe he has good characteristics and believes in customer service and in treating people the right way.

I am finally writing this only to let everyone know how Etheridge Compass can treat people behind closed doors. I was so afraid of him and his threats that it caused me a small form of PTSD and depression. Though I am doing well for myself as I still take care of customers who come to me for business services and inform them of insights and information that benefits them, I still feel some depression from the dealings I had with Etheridge Miller of Platinum Shine Mobile.

You have read the story and I don't expect you to not do business with Mr. Miller, but you at least deserve the right to know what kind of person he really is behind the smiling mask he wears day to day with his customers.
