As the seven-working-day window for submitting applications to the Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF) narrows, it is critical for Local Authorities to expedite the preparation and submission of their applications to ensure funding for the decarbonisation of their corporate estate. The LCSF is strategically designed to assist Local Authorities in both crafting their initial decarbonisation strategies (Stage 1) and in the progression to detailed building audits and feasibility studies (Stage 2), which set the groundwork for key project implementation (Stage 3: Design and Delivery). These initiatives, identified for their transformative potential, will be eligible for capital funding in the next Public Sector Decarbonisation Fund (PSDF) funding round in Autumn 2024. Should you need support in this process or assistance in maximising the potential of your application, please do not hesitate to reach out. Our team is ready to provide the necessary guidance and expertise to help you navigate through the application stages and to align your efforts with the fund's objectives for a successful outcome.
