Unprecedented Levels of Hate in Israel
I'm seeing things now that after almost 60 years of living here on this earth - here in Israel and also abroad - that are very hard to digest.
I've been through a lot in life, but don't have any life experience that would sufficiently prepare me for this hate we're seeing in Israel, and toward Israel from abroad.
I saw hate revealed when I was living in Canada, but you could say it was all on a small burner in those days.
I've never experienced such levels of hatred between Jews - between fellow members of the Jewish nation - living in the only Jewish country in the world. And being done with such crazy levels of agression and so bluntly. So rudely.
Our best and brightest young boys and girls are being killed on a daily basis.
I'm also seeing how the Jews abroad don't understand what's going on over here - they believe everything in the media that's been bought and paid for. I'm not blaming them.
They believe that many people inside Israel are against the government, etc. That's not true - it's the same group of Kaplan protesters - and the elite they're all part of - blowing everything up and doing everything in their power to weaken Israel and bring down the government - that's their mission. They continue to receive millions of dollars from the powerful people who want to weaken Israel.
What's Really Going On?
So in a nutshell - we're in a war at the moment. Our best and brightest young boys and girls are being killed on a daily basis. They are sacrificing themselves to save Israel, and haven't hesitated for a fraction of a second since October 7th. They left their families, relationships, good jobs, important studies, businesses and everything - for what? They are willing to die for their nation, to die for their country, and you never hear them complain about anything.
There is some special spirit in these courageous souls protecting us, that we don't feel here on the home front.
There is some special spirit in these courageous souls protecting us, that we don't feel here on the home front.
Regardless of anything else going on - we're still deep in this war in Gaza.
This isn't a war over something trivial - for us it's an existential war. Either we'll remain here or we won't.
There are many forces who don't want us here and they're trying to show us the way out. They would love to see us fall.
In the meantime things are heating up in the North. We have problems popping up with Arabs living here throughout the entire country. During this last period we've seen protests in Jaffa, Ramle, Lod, up North in the Galil, not to mention the criminal gangs of Arabs and Israelis taking advantage of the situation up North and in the South.
With all this going on we have a large group of people busy trying to put the country out of commission by protesting against the government, and doing so many other childish / primitive acts - there's simply no other way to describe how tone deaf this group is. Even though there are many academics, scientists, cultural and military leaders involved in this group. These are supposed to be a group of highly sophisticated people. The kind of Israelis who have traveled the world and studied for their degrees for many years, etc. Supposedly honorable citizens.
But to see them behaving like this in such a primitive and dark manner - I literally don't understand where it's all coming from - all this hate for their own country! For their own people! How can they allow themselves to behave in this manner? For the sake of what? What are they really fighting for? Why are they going against their own country? Against the citizens of their own country? Against their brothers and sisters! Who are they really fighting against?
Today's "Day of Disruption" - is the latest concept they've come up with to get what they want - new elections. See more details in the article below ....
Unbelievable
Can you believe it? At a time like this when we have such brave souls like this reservist Lior Kadosh (liorkadosh on Instagram) giving everything they have to save the country, these sick people are still stirring the pot of hate - only it's far worse than last time.

The Other Side
While this group of sick people keeps trying to weaken Israel, we have amazing brothers and sisters doing so much to support our soldiers. And I don't care what your political opinions are right now - all those things don't matter now. The only thing that matters is uniting behind our soldiers to give them strength to keep going. So they can defeat this evil!
The only thing that matters is uniting behind our soldiers to give them strength to keep going.
I've seen some beautiful examples from today -- people cooking for the lone soldiers on the weekends. Those are soldiers who came from abroad to volunteer in our army and don't necessarily have anywhere to go on the weekend.
Or this heartwarming viral post about a young man being replaced by his old math teacher at his post in Gaza - speaking about how much respect the younger generation has for these experienced soldiers who can whip up a meal in the middle of nowhere out of almost nothing.
So the bottom line is - that people who want to give of themselves will always find a good way to do that.
People who want to complain and destroy everything here in Israel - at the end of the day they won't succeed. They have no clue what they're dealing with.
The spirit of Israel is unbreakable, so all our internal enemies and external enemies are doing is making it stronger.
Oh wait - I didn't think that up by myself. It was actually my famous neighbor Avri Gilad (and I dont usually agree with his opinions at all ....) who said that earlier about today's Day of Disruption -
Here's a rough translation of Avri's post -
Disruption
I brought my daughter to the summer day camp. I was told that the trip planned for today is cancelled. There is a disruption day. You can't go out on the roads. How messed up.
Anyone who thinks that disrupting the lives of citizens will open hearts, change attitudes, make a change, is a disturbed individdual. Nine months into the war. Why not declare a day of kindness, unity, good deeds? Instead of blocking intersections, distribute yellow flowers at the intersections.
I also want a change of government. It will not happen in the way of the demonstrations, the protests, the blockades, the bonfires. On the contrary, every disruption strengthens the government. Any disruption disrupts the minds of the people and turns normal people into angry ones. Angry people dig into their previous attitudes. Open the hearts, open the junctions. We will be good to each other. Only this will do us good.
