Thank You,

2025 is literally right around the corner, and I want to ask you one question this morning.
Do you feel like you are ready?
Many of us go through the rollercoaster of "I'm going to get after it" to "ugh, I don't even know where to begin," and that's dangerous.
I will share with you what I share with some of my biggest clients in helping them take massive action and achieve professional success and personal confidence.
Here are my top FIVE ways you can unstuck yourself for 2025.
#1 You can only put a roof on with the foundation.
Many conversations I hear come from a place of "goal focus" but never "system focused. " What I mean is that the majority of us set goals but fail to define the system that will carry us to our goals.
Do you want to lose weight in 2025? How?
Want to be promoted in 2025?
Want to get rid of that bad habit in 2025?
The key is to understand that no matter what you focus on and what goal you set. You will never reach it by just setting the goal. You must dig into the hard stuff that nobody likes to ensure you set a foundation to guide you to the goal.
#2 Most of us waste time. Period.
If you have been following my newsletter, you know I preached about the power of 86,400, the number of seconds in a day.
The majority of us waste time. We don't do what we are supposed to do; we slack off when we know we should be working or going to the gym. We waste time, and we don't learn to value it.
By the way, I was guilty of this too. I am not just preaching but also sharing. I need these five points as much as you do.
One of the best things to do is to turn the TV off. You can just cut back on your game day watching on the weekend or stop binging TV shows.
The average American watches (3) hours of TV daily... that is (21) hours a week. And let's be honest... most of the watch time is a pointless show.
No one ever laid on their deathbed and said, "Man, I wish I watched more TV and spent less time living."
I encourage you to put down the remote and focus on what you want to accomplish! It's time to get after it and put systems in place so you can finally start winning!
Don't waste any more time. I need you to start looking at it differently, and when you do, you will find your shift to focusing on successful values vs. pleasure seeking.
What time robbers are you going to stop going into 2025?
#3 Sleep is the game changer.
Point #2 is related to point #3, which states that sleep is not respected enough in our culture!
I have the utmost respect for professionals whose sleep is heavily interfered with by the nature of their jobs.
It's no secret that the successful people in this world—the ones we consider the elite—understand how sleep works.
Ignore useless nonsense with influencers who talk about "sleep is for the weak" because the majority of them are far from few and between.
You should study sleep cycles and how to get the maximum amount of rest. You will notice a difference in your production, focus, and confidence.
Again, to be transparent with you, when I was in the corporate world, my sleep was trash because I was always focused on emails and phone calls and worrying about what problem was coming next. I could never turn my tiredness off, leading to some nasty habits to cope with.
Fast-forward almost four years, and I can confidently say that sleep has been a game changer. I've been able to double the production of tasks, focus, and even make way more money because I have intense clarity. I am not bogged down fighting the "sleepiness" because I stayed up too late watching TV, football, or anything else.

Please commit right now so that you can focus on better sleep. It will be sluggish at first but be dedicated to the process!
The picture below is what dying looks like. This picture was taken roughly a month and a half before I ended up in the hospital, where my life changed forever. I was falling asleep because my body was shutting down.
#4 Get tougher.
This is not meant to attack you but to focus on you and inspire you to build stronger resilience. Too many of us give up too quickly when something gets tough or pushes us outside our comfort zone.
Going back to earlier when I was talking about foundations- this is a big reason why many fail to be "tough" and often turn to moments of weakness, and that one single moment can stray us away from success.
Want to get healthier in 2025?
Want to do better at work?
What do you need to get stricter about? What areas are you avoiding just because they are "uncomfortable," and how badly do you want to improve in 2025?
#5 Real winning is knowing it's for you.
There is a quote I love, and I'm not sure who gets the credit for it, but here it is.
"The only work that matters is the work no one sees because it's a competition between you and you. Stop talking about the work you do in front of others and realize the only credit you get is the credit you know you deserve by the work you do when no one is around."
So, what is the point of sharing this in this edition? It's the main point to winning the first four points I shared.
Whether it's leadership, non-profit work, personal change, professional development, etc., it requires work that needs to be done that is not seen in the light. That's the part that matters the most.
Often, we encourage people to "do for someone special," and yes, that can work, and it might... but not as much as you think.
The "find something special" to do it for should be a part of the system to become better, but it can't be the foundation.
You want it for yourself is the best foundation because no one can hear your conversations with yourself in your head except you. That is where the real work comes into play.
That is why if you want to make 2025 the year you finally get unstuck and take advantage of becoming a better version of yourself, then make it a point to realize that you have to want it for yourself. No one is coming to save you.
I want to see you win in 2025, and I want to be here cheering you on!
You can make 2025 the year when everything changes for you and your family. It's not impossible.
If you want help or need an accountability partner, I'll give you my time first. No cost- I will be happy to support you in your systems goal or motivate you to get after it.
But it's on you. Period.

1moI was listening to a podcast recently by Mel Robbins and she was speaking with Dr. Scott Lyons. The topic of avoidance came up with being "busy." Your second point related to wasting time came back to me as Dr. Lyons describes wasting time and not focusing is due to a trauma that has not been resolved making those focusing time periods more difficult. Tough to consider your own shortcomings during focus time because of the trauma. I thought I would throw that out there. Perhaps, the idea that what you propose in this edition of your newsletter is another area to pursue to get where you want to be!
