UPDATE: Hurricane Helene Disaster Recovery
Thanks to Public Consulting Group for support to our friends and family in Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce . The damage was as bad as shown on TV. Bottom line is LACK OF WATER for the foreseeable future. For many folks, there is NO water to boil, flush, or clean.
Appreciate all you for rolling up your sleeves and/or dropping some love in the hat!

All donations to American Red Cross North Carolina The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina are sincerely appreciated. Local folks helping local folks!
Trees are down every where you look and mudslides will take months to clean up, but it feels like most roads are now passable with caution.
There is some "better" news. Many folks can get bottle water, food, power, cell coverage, and internet. Every day is MUCH better for homes around Asheville proper, but the rural towns are still in mess and will be for some time.
Anyone would be impressed by SIGNATURE FLIGHT SUPPORT LIMITED at the Asheville Regional Airport . They have been working around the clocks to get military, police, emergency response, and government officials in and out. It was an amazing thing to witness the power and volume of response by FEMA North Carolina Office of the Governor and US Army
If you know of anyone around Asheville or Enka-Candler, let us know. We will try our best to get them connected with local help.
