An Updated List of Countries Open to Travelers

Around the world more countries are opening to vaccinated and unvaccinated international visitors. While the list is becoming quite extensive, below are a list of key openings.

Bora Bora, Tahiti (French Polynesia)

Travelers who are fully vaccinated or who test positive for antibodies via a serology test administered 15 to 30 days prior to arrival can come.

Denmark

Fully vaccinated travelers (two weeks after final dose) may enter Denmark, no testing or quarantine required.

Romania

U.S. travelers may enter Romania with no restrictions. Visitors should bring a vaccination certificate or proof of a recent negative Covid test.

France

Starting June 9, fully vaccinated U.S. travelers can enter France and they must show negative results from a PCR test conducted in the previous 72 hours or an antigen test conducted in the last 48 hours.

Greece

U.S. travelers and those from certain other countries can travel to Greece without quarantine as long as they have been fully vaccinated (14 days past the final dose), can show that they recovered from Covid in the last 9 months, or have a negative PCR test that was conducted within the previous 72 hours prior to arrival.

Iceland

For U.S. travelers who are fully vaccinated or those who can provide valid proof of prior infection, they can enter Iceland.

Ireland

Starting July 19, U.S. vaccinated travelers will be able to enter with no quarantine. Unvaccinated travelers must bring a negative Covid test conducted within the previous 72 hours and will have to self-isolate until testing negative again after their arrival.

Italy

U.S. travelers can enter Italy via an approved “Covid-tested” flight and will not have to quarantine. Flights are available into Rome, Milan, Naples, and Venice–but not all flights from the U.S. into these cities qualify.

Maldives

Travelers to the Maldives must have a confirmed booking at an accommodation and can split their time between two resorts, but must request approval of their split stay from the Ministry of Tourism two days before their travel. Travelers must show proof of full vaccination at least 2 weeks prior or proof of a negative PCR test from the 96 hours prior to their departure.

Mexico

The country remains open to travelers arriving by air.

Morocco

Travelers from certain countries including the U.S. may enter Morocco, but must have a reservation with a hotel or travel agency. Travelers must bring proof of a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours of their travel.

Spain

Starting June 7, Spain will allow fully vaccinated U.S. travelers into the country.
