URBAN CREATION FOUNDER NAMED TRUSTEE OF ST. GEORGE'S BRISTOL
Urban Creation is excited to announce that our founder and owner Jonathan Brecknell has become a trustee of St. George's, Bristol, an exceptional independent music venue on Great George’s Street.
Located just steps from Urban Creation's Park Street office, St. George’s is a unique 580-seat concert hall converted from a 200-year-old Georgian church. It hosts performances by renowned artists, making it a cultural gem in Bristol.
In addition to being a music venue, St. George's offers a versatile space for performances, learning, and ideas. The venue hosts various events, including a philosophy season, activities for children and families, lunchtime concerts, author talks, and comedy shows.
As a charity, St. George's is governed by a volunteer board of trustees. Jonathan, committing to a three-year term, is honoured to contribute to this iconic venue and its mission.
With deep roots in Bristol, Jonathan is passionate about community impact and growth. Serving as trustee enables Urban Creation to further strengthen local engagement. It provides a direct avenue to stay informed on community initiatives and actively participate.
Having experienced St. George's excellence first-hand, we are as a company, all committed to promoting this exceptional venue. Urban Creation frequently recommends St. George's to guests, and this role allows us to celebrate it further.
We also share in St. George's passion for preserving historic structures. Transforming heritage buildings into modern housing aligns with Urban Creation's specialty. Jonathan and Urban Creation are inspired by St. George’s remarkable journey from Georgian church to cutting-edge performance space.
We look forward to seeing what opportunities this new role will bring. Watch this space…
