Job Opportunity: US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience Consultant

Location: Chicago (must live in Chicago) Position: Full-time (not contract) Salary: $130,000 - $135,000 base

Job Description

What You'll Be Doing

As a member of the Security Services team, you'll work in a fast-paced information security environment, protecting the organization from cyber threats. Your primary responsibility will be executing security functions related to US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience controls. You will manage multiple security products to achieve critical security objectives.

How You'll Succeed

  • Implement Security Vision and Roadmap: Execute the COR Security Vision and Roadmap.
  • Agile Team Member: Participate in planning events, team stand-ups, and sprint planning.
  • SOC Service Consultant: Collaborate with enterprise SOC and service owners to implement security event telemetry, including security event logging, SIEM, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence.
  • Red Team Testing: Plan Red Team test scenarios and track follow-up findings.
  • Penetration Testing: Schedule penetration tests per security policy.
  • Vulnerability Management: Liaise and respond to vulnerabilities identified across infrastructure and applications within SLA timelines.
  • Metrics: Develop and report on US COR Security Service metrics and KPIs.
  • Incident and Threat Response: Lead investigations to find, triage, and contain threats using CSIM.
  • Fusion: Research current threats and participate in daily Fusion stand-ups, discussing external threat levels.

Who You Are

  • Certified Professional: You hold industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  • Educational Background: You have a degree or diploma in Information Security or equivalent work experience.
