Using Topic Clusters for Your Law Firm's SEO
Topic clusters are multiple pieces of content that are all related to a single topic.

Using Topic Clusters for Your Law Firm's SEO

As a law firm, you know that most people with legal problems have questions. Often, they have several questions. It used to be that the only way to get answers was to pick up the phone and call an attorney. That’s no longer what happens. Instead, people head online, type in their questions, and scan through the results pages to find an answer.

In the building of websites, one of the ways we can help give people the right answers to their questions — the questions we can answer and problems we can solve at that law firm — is to follow a pillar cluster content website model. It’s a model that works very well for law firm websites because it provides searchers with helpful information while also building your topical authority.

Are you missing the mark?

Having a website with a single static page isn’t enough. When someone gets to your landing page like this, they have to make the decision of contacting you or leaving. You haven’t met their need, proven your expertise, built up your brand, or even created opportunities for the reader to remain on your page longer.

Keep them there longer

With the pillar pages, cluster pages, and linking structure we put into place on the law firm websites we create, we keep people on your site longer, moving deeper into the sales funnel, growing in their interest, and ultimately making the decision to contact you.

Give the search engines the food they need

The pillar cluster content model is also fantastic for helping websites rank in the search engines. In our extensive experience, we know that this format makes it easy for Google’s site crawlers to move through the website to rank it, and the easier that is, the sooner you begin ranking for the keywords related to your law firm.

Using the pillar cluster model for your firm

It’s one of the best ways to get your website in front of prospective clients. Yet, it takes some careful design and planning to be successful. To help you get started, we’ve written an article that outlines what this process is, how it goes together, how to build it yourself (if you want to devote the time), and what it will do for your site.

Take a few minutes now to read more about this model. Then, contact Array Digital and let us work to build your site’s success.
