UTS GMP Lite facility set to be an Australian first to support algae-based biotech innovation

A cutting-edge GMP Lite (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility will open at UTS in 2019. This facility is being developed in partnership with GE Healthcare and will be an addition to the UTS Deep Green Biotech Hub (DGBH). It is set to be an Australian first for algal-based pharmaceutical production. The facility will provide a space for proof-of-concept work, product development and research, small-scale manufacturing of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical (food supplements) and agricultural vaccines, and training and teaching opportunities. https://bit.ly/2OqJt5l

This is very exciting Peter! Are there any open career opportunities for young scientists here?
