The Value of Your Vision

The Value of Your Vision

One of the most important aspects of being driven is having a vision to strive towards. Vision takes us beyond the visible and enables us to see without physically seeing. It doesn’t require stars aligning, nor does it warrant a significant measure of good fortune. For the most part, vision requires audacity and courage.

The Audacity of Vision

Having the audacity to embrace vision is a testament to the courage that lies within the human spirit. It means daring to see beyond the tangible and embracing the possibilities that reside in the heart. These possibilities often motivate us to keep going, so never give up on them!

Your vision is not a mere daydream but a deliberate and powerful choice to look past immediate obstacles and envision a future sculpted by hope and relentless effort. This boldness separates the ordinary from the extraordinary, for it takes a special kind of bravery to acknowledge that while the present may be grounded in calamity, the future can be boundless.

Your Vision is Valuable

To have a vision is to embark on a journey paved with both challenges and opportunities. It is a conscious decision to trust in one’s inner compass, even when the path ahead is shrouded in uncertainty. The toughest part is aligning your efforts with your vision.

When I left the military, I knew my success as a civilian would require more than just work ethic. I understood that I needed a vision for life outside the uniform. Therefore, I sought mentors to help inspire me to see more and more. This led me to journal, learn, and pursue what I saw through vision. The more I valued vision, the more my vision became lived experience.

Mark Twain said, "I never let my schooling interfere with my education." What you learn through exposure will inform the next stages of your life. It’s bigger than a curriculum or program. Allow the beauty of life and possibilities to inspire your vision!

Lastly, don’t waste energy on haters and naysayers. When you accept that not everyone will believe in you, there’s a special peace that comes into your life. You must believe in yourself! Above all, focus your heart on the fulfillment of your future.

Have a great week!
