Vector Motorsport Management LAUNCH New Fan Based Funding Platform
LAUNCH of ignitionmob : This brand new platform is a crowdfund site that has been created purely for Motorsport. It will enable racers to source funding in a new way that we believe is good for the sport as a whole.
"I have often thought how many fans would love to get involved if there was a way they could? Getting closer to the sport that they follow, feel a part of it and really have someone to support" commented Founder of Vector Motorsport Management and ignitionmob Marc Cox. "I have been lucky enough to spend more than 15 years within this cutting edge industry, most of which within Formula 1, and have a real passion to help the future stars on both 2 wheels and 4, progress and reach their full potential, Vector Motorsport Management and ignitionmob were born from this vision."
So, what is it all about? There could be a driver or rider that is looking to crowdfund a certain amount of their next season's budget. With the new platform created by Vector, Ignitionmob, they can create a campaign, set their target and here is the different part from generic sites, load up rewards for people that pledge to them and away we go. It’s a new way of sourcing funding and also creating fan engagement at the same time. Businesses interested in getting involved can get on board too with reward packages just for them. It is the new dedicated community for Motorsport crowd funding.
Simon Wright, co-founder "Just imagine the excitement and feeling of supporting YOUR rider or driver at a race weekend knowing YOU have played a really important part of keeping them on the track. Without you they would not be there, providing the entertainment, thrills and spills on the track. It is so important for the future of the sport to enable the stars of the future realise their full potential ."
ignitionmob will help with creating professional profiles for riders and drivers to increase their visibility and appeal to potential supporters, assist with putting reward packages together and advises on the best practice of engaging with their supporters.
