VentureBlick’s Super Incubator Welcomes Castomize as its Inaugural Startup to Fast-track Growth

Castomize , the Singapore-based creator of an innovative 4D-printed orthopaedic cast, has been selected as the first startup participant in VentureBlick’s Super Incubator programme.

The VentureBlick Super Incubator is a pioneering initiative that is set to transform the startup incubation and acceleration landscape. It provides end-to-end support to medtech startups, guiding them from the validation of their business ideas and product development to fundraising and successful commercialisation. This isn't a short-term programme with a fixed curriculum, but rather a tailored nurturing and partnership journey, highlighted by:

1.       Expertise & Support: VentureBlick’s team of 30 includes medtech veterans, regulatory experts, seasoned marketers, and investor relations specialists. Startups benefit from a clinicians-led global angel network and seasoned professionals who understand healthcare inside out.

2.       Powerful Connections: Startups gain access to VentureBlick’s network of 1500+ clinicians and industry experts, as well as medtech partners including manufacturers, hospitals, MNCs, and distributors that provide resources and connections at every development stage and market.

3.       Real-World Readiness: VentureBlick goes beyond theory, offering startups real-world experiences like pitching opportunities to global investors, access to the pilot market, and engagement with future customers. These experiences fine-tune their value proposition, improve product-market fit, and accelerate growth.

Castomize’s 4D-printed orthopaedic cast is a lightweight, waterproof, and self-moulding innovation, ensuring comfort for patients and ease of use for doctors. It outperforms traditional plastic and fiberglass casts, and has won awards at the K-Startup Grand Challenge, e27 Top 100 APAC 2023, and Hello Tomorrow Deep Tech Pioneer 2022.

In the Super Incubator programme, Castomize’s onboarding includes tailored clinical mentorship, industry immersion sessions, and strategic planning – all driven by real-world feedback. Once strategies are aligned, VentureBlick will provide hands-on assistance in fundraising, forging key partnerships, devising market entry strategies, and navigating successful exits.

Castomize has also appointed VentureBlick as its exclusive marketing and sales partner in Korea, one of its pilot markets. VentureBlick will establish a dedicated team to facilitate product registration and distribution in Korea. This strategic move is designed to drive early revenue for Castomize and substantially enhance its market viability and valuation.
