We sit down with Wendi to discuss her transition as a woman leaving the military and how that led her to dedicating her life to helping woman transition successfully. Wendi has a successful coaching business and is the host of the Beyond the Military Podcast where she discusses important issues about military transition and issues specific to women.
Wendi Wray is a woman of God, wife, mama of 3, US Army Veteran, and passionate advocate for women veterans. Her mission is to guide women from feeling uncertain to confident in their new identity as a woman professional.

Peter Cline - Boots to Books
Peter C. joins us to talk about his transition and the journey of starting Boots to Books . While outlining his transition, he highlights how important networking is. Peter’s journey to starting his company included several different experiences which he learned and grew from. His best and worst points of entrepreneurship are eye-opening to anyone wanting to become an entrepreneur. He outlines for us the various programs he has utilized to help build his organization and how strategic partnerships are important to any organization.
Boots to Books is a nationwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides scholarships, career discovery opportunities, resume and interview support, and employment opportunities to members of the military community, never at any cost. They've established partnerships with the United States Army Reserve , leading training institutions like CompTIA , and leading companies like Google . Outside of Boots to Books Peter sits on various boards, both for nonprofits and municipalities, has consulted for Fortune 500 companies and participated in acquisitions, both realized not, ranging from tens of millions to over one billion dollars. Peter loves to quickly build random ideas, read incessantly, and learn, being a former Don Lavoie Political Economy Fellow at George Mason University and currently earning his law degree part time at Santa Clara University .

Westfield State University - Robert Vigneault
Robert joins us to talk about Westfield State University and the great program they are running there. He shares with us his journey from military transition to working with veteran in higher education. From a veteran center to veteran orientation, Westfield State University has a great military-connected program. Check out this episode to learn about the program and hear about the many ways they are working to help the veteran community with their educational needs.
Robert Vigneault 's background and journey to working in higher education is long and diverse. He served in the United States Air Force , was a stay-at-home Dad, and worked in various roles in education and Veteran services on his journey to working for Westfield State University . His journey began at Holyoke Community College in 2017, managing a Veterans Center called “The Bunker.” He then transitioned to the role of School Certifying Official for Holyoke followed by a dual position with Greenfield Community College . In 2023, after graduating from Southern New Hampshire University he assumed his current position with Westfield and is currently enrolled in a Masters in Public Administration program.

The SITE MEP Technical Coordinator will collaborate with a Senior MEP Technical Coordinator to oversee the installation of electrical equipment, specifically UPS and Switchgear, at the customer's site. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of design documents, specifications, references, drawings, submittals, equipment lists, Arc Flash Studies, startup procedures, and commissioning compliance documents. The coordinator will also be responsible for interpreting and implementing all owner project requirements (OPR).
