Virtudesk: Seven Years of Triumph and a Vision for 2024

What are the things that fill you with gratitude? How do you express this gratitude?

The past year was somewhat difficult, yet we managed to overcome it. Now, we're embarking on a new journey filled with hope – akin to a fresh battle in the business landscape. 

Beginning this phase on a positive note is crucial, as it shapes the tone for the entire year ahead, much like how a smile can define the mood for your day.

How do we do this? In this newsletter - my first newsletter in 2024 - I aim to inspire you, dear readers, with the belief that we can seize all the wonderful opportunities this year has to offer.

Kick Off 2024 With Vibrant Optimism

Before the close of last year, Virtudesk successfully created a positive atmosphere for selected team members, paving the way for an excellent start to 2024. We rewarded our top-performing virtual assistants from across the Philippines with a specially arranged, no-holds-barred incentive trip.

This delightful retreat was hosted in the magnificent location of Palawan. Later in this blog, I'll delve into the reasons behind choosing Palawan. But first, it's important to note that the retreat was packed with thrilling experiences and unexpected delights.

The aim of the retreat is to recognize and appreciate our leading virtual assistants at Virtudesk for their dedication and efforts. Their resilience and positive attitude, despite facing challenges, truly set them apart. We acknowledge the significant sacrifice they make by working night shifts to support their families. Their contributions have not been overlooked, and I am committed to continuing to reward them in recognition of their invaluable role.

That optimism fuels my motivation to work harder, acquire clients, and progress. Virtudesk isn't just about aiding clients in realizing their potential or assisting them in achieving their goals; it's also about supporting our virtual assistants. They play a crucial role in keeping Virtudesk thriving, and their contributions are essential to our success.

The optimism ushering in 2024 promises a year of even greater achievements and higher successes than 2023, setting the stage for a remarkable period of accomplishment.

Palawan: Just The Right Place to Recharge and Reboot

Our business partners are aware that we source talents or virtual assistants from the Philippines, and Palawan is one of over 7,000 islands in the country. The Philippine team selected this place to recharge and reboot because of its stunning beauty and the peace it offers. We brought together virtual assistants from various parts of the country and journeyed as a group to the island. The trip to Palawan was more than just a reward; it was a celebration of our seven-year milestone in the virtual assistance industry. Awards were presented to our dedicated employees and top-performing virtual assistants, meticulously chosen by our human resources department. Prizes were also awarded to lucky virtual assistants participating in the program. Furthermore, I am committed to ensuring that we retain our existing clients and acquire new ones in 2024 to keep the business operating smoothly.

To achieve this, we plan to introduce new services for our clients, marking an exhilarating beginning to 2024. This takes us to the next section of this newsletter.

Our VAs ensure efficiency in operations while accompanied by a transparent system that requires them to log hours for accountability.

Virtudesk VA Management Services: As the need for varied offerings grows, Virtudesk is ready to help businesses get one step closer to their goal of managing any number of virtual assistants. Be it one VA that you hired to perform a variety of tasks or a team of freelancers to cover individual tasks – Virtudesk is ready to provide the efficiency and management needed.
