The Vision Tablet- detours not delays
In 2019, I graduated from college with many goals and aspirations.
'Get my masters degree in the next 2 years.'
'Relocate to the United Kingdom to practice as a nurse'
'Do something meaningful with my life and nursing career'
And the list goes on...
Looking back, I just smile at how life have a way of taking you through detours, many of which I have taken to get to where I am today.
And I still haven't enrolled for my Masters degree yet, talk about detours (not delays).😁
At times, I wish things could have happened differently but I have learned to look for ways to forge ahead instead of having wishful thinking or getting stuck over what did not happen.
I know I still have a lot ahead of me. I have not gotten to my final bus stop...
Dear Nurse,
Although your career journey may not look like the one you envision, however, I want to encourage you to keep going.
Keep the vision of where you intend to get to before you and never loose sight of it.
They always find a way to manifest.
Always!
One of the stories that strike me in the scripture is that of Habakkuk.
I believe the instructions God gave him before telling him his mind is a template for life.
Habakkuk has been waiting on God for a response on the questions he asked God. And when He decided to answer him, He simply gave him this instruction.
Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV
I needed to share this story to show you how the application of these same principles can transform the results you get in your career.

Oh before I forget I started doing something meaningful with my life and career. I find joy in helping others get results and find meaning to life. And I finally relocated to the United Kingdom.
Remember, detours are not delays.
Till I write to you next time
I'm rooting for you

Updates:
I have been learning to take life as it comes lately. I am learning not to rush things, bask in the moments and work on ideas that I get.
Dear Nurse newsletter is one of the baby of those ideas. And we are close to 250 subscribers in just 2 weeks of launching. Yay!
Also on ideas, I recently published a faith-based journal on amazon. My aim of doing is to help believers bring their personal study of the word alive. Check it out here, you'll definitely love it.
