Vision in a time of COVID-19

Vision in a time of COVID-19

In times of crisis, we need to fuel our visions, dreams and hope. The greatest achievements were all created with hope, vision and the ability to dream of a greater future.

Here are examples of lifechanging visionaries:

Abraham – Without his vision, the tribes that makeup Judaism and Islam would not have been born, his dreams and hope led to the creation of the three world-leading religions. (Family Leadership)

Moses – Without his vision, the Israelites would not have hope and the dream of freedom would not have begun. (Religious Leadership)

Buddha – without his vision Buddhism would not have been born, his dream and hope for equality and materialistic free society led to the birth of Buddhism. (Equality Leadership)

Jesus – Without his vision, Christianity would not have been born, and the hope and dreams his crucifixion inspired created Christianity. (Equality Leadership)

Mohammad – Without his vision, Islam would not have been born, his leadership inspired hope and dreams that led to the birth of Islam. (Religious Leadership)

Winston Churchill – Without his unwavering vision and hope, the dreams for a free world would not have driven the British to win the war with the help of America, Russia and European Resistance Fighters. (Global Leadership)

Mahatma Gandhi – Without his vision for a non-violent revolution that inspired many and built hope and dreams for a better future led to the birth of the modern Indian Nation. (National Leadership)

There are many more examples of visionaries for both good and bad. What makes them stand out is that during times of stress they stood solid with their beliefs, the hopes, and their dreams. They led through visionary leadership and instilled hope and inspired all to dream a unified dream.

Now, in this time of COVID-19, it is up to every individual (everyone one of us) to be an Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, Gandhi and Churchill combined. Each one of us is a family, a part of a nation and a part of the world, and most of us have religious belief. It is up to us, in these times of uncertainty to envision a greater future, instil hope in all those that surround us and to never stop dreaming of our personal freedoms.
