Wait on the LORD
Psalms 27:14 says; “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. ”
God always knows best. I am convinced that our Heavenly Father wants nothing but the best for us. However, we must trust his timing for the things we desire him to do in our lives. God is working on our behalf, even if you don’t see any evidence of what He’s doing. When we commit something to Him we MUST trust His timing for manifestation. Many Christians end up with Ishmael when God’s plan was for Isaac (Genesis 17:18-21). Today, refuse to give in to discouragement if it seems to be taking a long time for your dream to become a reality.
God never gets in a hurry, because godly character is more important to Him than gifts, talents, or temporary success. God wants to use you, but He also wants you to be ready to be used (2 Tim 2:21). Proverbs 3:5 says; “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Trust the Lord and His timing He knows what He’s doing (Isa 46:10). Don't forget - He sees things you don’t see right NOW.
Psalms 31:24 (GW) says; “ Be strong, all who wait with hope for the LORD, and let your heart be courageous."
