A Warm Recalling Back

A Warm Recalling Back

It was definitely an uneventful day with only one appointment scheduled for a late afternoon final walk-thru on a home that's closing on Friday, so yours truly made sure to keep himself busied with other things the entire day.

After getting loaded up on all of today's news, I've come to realize our whole world is going down a very dark path with the wars, the polarizing mindsets of the general public, the growing numbers of struggling families, the increase in global warming, and the list goes on and on. It's almost feeling like there's some great force out there that's preparing us for a re-boot.

Since there's so few people who've studied history, I'd encourage everyone to do a little research on what events caused the Dark Ages which lasted for centuries. I know one major event which was a key player, but I'll leave all you who're questioning it, to do your own research, and afterwards, you may begin to think today's world is heading in that same direction. I'm sure some would agree that we're already in a period of devolution.

Once I had all my little chores, I headed back and spent a good three hours cracking black walnuts, and since I was working with no interruptions, I managed to get some good deep thinking done while toiling away.

Many of my thoughts were mainly reflections on past happenings which had taken place these recent years, which affected me greatly, but unfortunately I had no control over those events, and only because they were mean-spirited choices made by dark-minded individuals. Even though they believe they got what they wanted along with being happy over the pain they'd inflicted, the wild card is soon to be realized, and that being the passing of time, and of course with that, comes age.

I suddenly remembered one of those evil perpetrators will be turning the ripe old age of 80 before the end of this month, and even though that nasty creature thinks she's sitting on the top of the world, the weights of time will be growing all the heavier as the months and years pass. I actually worked very hard at trying to think of even the smallest of contributions such mindsets like her and several others have given back to world, and truthfully I couldn't think of one thing other than their having pro-created several times, which I've never considered to be any great feat because such events happen in nature all the time.

My final walk-thru went very well this afternoon, and before we headed out the door, I had to mention to that charming couple the fact that it's been a very long time since I've seen a couple in these times with the most well-behaved children, which in the end, becomes a reflection on the parents, which prompted me to say, “You're doing an excellent job raising your children.” I had a warm recalling back to my own youth when the mother added, “They all know they can act up at home, but never out in public.”, which is the same mindsets my parents had with their children. We all know that in these times, it a rarity to see such well-behaved children out in public.

Tonight's One-liner is: To the quiet mind, all things are possible.
