Stop waiting for marketing to generate leads for you….leads that often aren’t even ready to buy. Stop waiting for someone to do your job and get back to basics and pick up that f@cken phone.

Unless you are exceeding quota and have so much sh@t in your pipe….take the time to stop and read what I am about to tell you.
No one is responsible for your pipeline but you. Linkedin as great as this platform is to help you build your list. It wont generate a f@ck load of pipeline for you and propel you to be the best sales professional you can be.
This is not a cold call versus social selling debate. This is real. Thousands upon thousands of salespeople are not hitting their numbers. I talk to sales leaders everyday who want to fix this problem.
And the cure is simple. Get back to basics. Data shows us the phone is still the best tool you have to engage with a prospect. Yes you need to use social as part of your cadence. But if you do not use the phone as the primary part of your outreach strategy expect to have an anorexic pipeline.
Yep I can hear you….there are many social influencers making insane bang for what they put out there on social. Look at Gary Vee. Now…..if you have a team of 40 content producers then go for it. The reality is many salespeople don’t have that many resources behind them to produce that amount of content.
If you want to be excel in your sales career do one thing. Pick up that f@cken phone and start dialling. If they don’t answer. Do it again….and again….and again….
