Washington State Ferries is currently seeking a Relief Janitor to support the team at Colman Dock!

The Washington State Ferry (WSF) a Division of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) currently seeking a Relief Janitor to support the team at Colman Dock in Seattle (Pier 52). The Colman Dock is the largest and busiest terminal in the WSF’s System. The Relief Janitor relieves the five full-time janitors and partners with them for tasks that require two individuals. This position performs custodial cleaning, service, and maintenance duties in the public areas of the terminal, the outdoor auto passenger areas in the vicinity of the entrance to the terminal, and the car deck.  This position provides clean-up of hazardous or biological materials, salting, de-icing, snow removal, and other inclement weather safety duties.

In addition, the Relief Janitor will work on scheduled projects, such as floors, power-washing, stormwater drain maintenance, etc., while complying with environmental regulations and security procedures.
