Watch the latest Parts Specialists Workshop Video

Diesel Technic’s Parts Specialists have created a new video – and this time it’s all about the belt drive in the engine. 

Driven by the crankshaft, the belt drive’s job is to transmit the rotary motion of the crankshaft to various auxiliary units such as the air conditioning compressor, the generator, the water pump or the fan.

All the Parts Specialists videos have English subtitles, and are easy to follow.

In their latest video, the Parts Specialists Lars and Kevin take a look at a truck in the workshop which is presenting with a belt drive fault, and soon discover that one of the truck's two belts is broken. As they work, they offer practical hints and tips whilst discussing some of the most common error patterns and potential issues.
