We all need Buffers!

We all need Buffers!

Have just returned from a wonderful networking opportunity with the Leeds Trinity Business Network.

There is always a talk on a subject relevant to business.

Today's was delivered by Dr James Jackson . An insightful and engaging presentation about stress and its impact on our mind and body. A talk full of humour, horror and heartache! I will never get over the story of the fear of kerplunk!

There was stress, but also possible solutions. These solutions are buffers to help us deal with the stresses of life and love. Getting married is a huge cause of stress, that is why the marriage vows are said one sentence at a time, to give your cortex time to catch up!

That's why adult colouring books are so good for you. Journaling, list making ( in the early evening) and a gentle slow bimble in nature are all buffers. The last one didn't surprise me!

The room was full of business owners and members of the business school team.

Thanks to everyone there for making that such an interesting and enjoyable meeting.

If there are businesses out there that want a fun and insightful talk about stress and how to cope then you won't get better than Dr James Jackson.

Don't miss the next meeting - it should be around September 26th.

Keep an eye out on Eventbrite and see you all there!
