We are back home, at a redesigned 99 Macquarie Street!

This week, we returned to our Sydney home at 99 after two years of redevelopment. Designed for creativity and collaboration, our new creative hub brings our collective of world-class specialist agencies together in a shared home for the first time.

Our mission was to create the most inspiring workplace, where creativity and collaboration thrives, and our people work alongside one another to create the best work of their lives.

“This is an exciting time for M&C Saatchi Group as we come back together at 99 Macquarie St, a space that took classic bones and reimagined their potential in service of collaboration and originality. Bringing our diverse creative brains together like never before is amazing and is incredibly important for the work.” – Cam Blackley, CCO of M&C Saatchi Australia

In our new home, we have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside people we want to turn up for every day. And we will continue to use the power of creativity to realise the ambitions of our clients and our people.

“The M&C Saatchi Group is all about realising the big ambitions of our clients, our people and the industry we are a part of. We have created a space that allows us to better connect around those ambitions. Our redesigned Sydney headquarters does exactly this, allowing us to inspire, create and collaborate in a cutting edge environment. It is a critical step forward as the business evolves.” – Justin Graham, CEO of M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ

It is brilliantly functional. A space which encourages and enables the sparking of ideas across all of our different capabilities. With open collaboration spaces, state-of-the-art tech rooms, quiet zones and co-create spaces, it is built to encourage and facilitate openness, and to enable our people to “work where is best for the work and themselves”.

We’ve taken an early 20th century building and brought it into the 21st century – to achieve better flow and worker connectivity. It has been a wonderful experience to marry Sydney’s past with the city’s future.” – Amanda Stanaway, Global Leader of Workplace Interiors at Woods Bagot

A new staircase in the atrium updates the heritage of Transport House with the future of work.

Alongside our refurbishment we’ve been thrilled to watch the revitalisation of the surrounding Quay Quarter come to life. With new cafés, bars, laneways, and art installations, it is becoming a world-class cultural and social destination once again – right outside our back door.

“We're excited to be returning to all the new bars and pubs in the area. We'll collaborate in those spaces too, from time to time.” – Cam Blackley, CCO of M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ

Many collaborated on the project, from strategy to selecting finishes. But it was our Operations Manager, Selena Pomorin, who made it happen.

Next up: Our Melbourne hub. We can’t wait to move in early 2023, watch this space.
