We connect chips

Our mission is a simple, powerful statement that tells everyone what we're here to do. It's not just about setting a goal. It's about connecting us and driving us in the same direction to make a fundamental change.

Think of it as our promise - to ourselves and to the world.

Our mission goes beyond the expected

“We connect chips.” reflects our commitment to innovation and an ongoing journey of technological progress. For the longest time, the idea of harnessing the full potential of chip networks was just that - an idea. Now, we are turning it into reality. We create powerful chip fabrics by connecting thousands of chips to allow them to interact almost as if they were one. We believe that connectivity is the foundation of progress.

We are realizing these high-throughput, low-latency chip networks with graphene-based technology. Graphene, known for its superior optical, electrical, and thermal properties, has emerged as the catalyst for change. We are using this two-dimensional material to enable photonic interconnects. These photonic interconnects allow us to forge ultra-fast, energy-efficient, and scalable networks to take computing power and efficiency to a new order of magnitude.

Mass production of graphene-based photonic interconnects is a very complex challenge, but that's exactly what we’re here for – to prove to everyone that you can make a fundamental change.

High throughput, low-latency: Graphene-based photonic chip networks

The need for high-throughput and low-latency data transfer has never been greater. While traditional electronic connections have been the backbone of computing systems as we know them, they are reaching their physical limitations. Future semiconductor technology requires an advanced solution. Our solution is to co-integrate electronics and optics (co-integrated optics, CIO) for massive optical chip connectivity, brought to life through graphene-based photonic chip-to-chip communication. With graphene as translator between electrons and photons, we can combine the best of both technological approaches, computing with electrons and communication with photons.

As a fast-growing, European start-up, we are challenging the status quo. We offer a new perspective which is fully compatible with current semiconductor industry standards. Taking chip communication to the next stage through light-based data transfer paves the way for technological breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, efficient data centers, or autonomous driving.
