Be the we 'FoundHer' Fundable Founder.

All Ignited Visions start with a spark. And that is why this edition of The BoldType Spotlight is back with a Spark of Inspiration to re-fuel the flame and re-ignite the blaze for TLC PRHub™ and it's allies.

After a hiatus of not publishing the newsletter [for life happens - get a life reasons], I'm back doing what I love most - putting pen to paper to share what's been happening in and around me the last few months - probably the main reason why I went AWOL in the first place [don't hold your breath].

Life happens for a reason for sure, and that's why we need to 'get life' [not 'a' life] when it does happen to us. Going back to early this year, I came out guns blazing ready to launch a bootstrapped PRHub platform, armed with a high level SaaS platform, an amazing on-boarding team and all the frills that only an American go-big or go home service provider can offer. Spent months perfecting the platform, copywriting, setting up work-flows, making everything look so pretty and presentable. Rang the bells and whistles calling founding members to on-board...then crickets! What went wrong?

That's when I knew that organic marketing was not going to cut it this time. PRHub was not one of my tried and tested one-to-many platforms that I had gotten used to in my Facebook Group days. This was a different beast that needed a different mundus operandi.

Fast forward, to Innovate UK's backlash, that outraged 100's of women due to the lack of funding - or rather disparities in the funding practices being deployed. That was it - a wake-up-call for me. I knew there and then - that I had been asleep...to the warning signs that 'no woman is an island' and that a coaching business is not the same as a start-up business...that a female entrepreneur was different from a female founder. [fact checked]

Suddenly, I had a lightbulb moment, that's when I realised with humility that my ICA had been 'wrong all along'. I had been talking to the wrong audience because I was using the wrong 'key messaging words' - ouch!

Putting the 'we 'FoundHer' Fundable Founder' back into your story:

Nearly three months later after being part of the PR & Comms voluntary team on the Let's Fund More Women movement, - I 'FoundHer' - the real me, the Jennifer Faith Nash 🇿🇲🇬🇧🇺🇸 that I knew all along had existed but had not been fully exhibited. She has been hiding behind under a musk of the wrong crowd and wearing a mask in the unfamiliar territories of personal identity and culture where I was the outlier - alas - the Founder-In-Me was founded!

Silently quitting doing work that no-longer served me, I have spent the last few months re-imagining my purpose, mission, vision and positioning. Through trial and error, and by joining female founders platforms like Female Founders Rise , ProspHER recently the The Female Network has helped me find my own identity. These complementary platforms for like minded women seeking to achieve phenomenal change and collectively aiming to add £250bn to the UK economy are just a few of the ways in which we can become fundable founders and get the media to say 'we FoundHer' ...

That is why I'm so pleased to announce in this edition of The BoldType Spotlight edition, the launch of my Ignited Visions: FoundHer Story campaign which in part, I started with this campaign to celebrate and show gratitude for amazing connections I've had in 2024. As such, I will also be showcasing profiles of my female founders who are inspiring me everyday and are challenging-the-status-quo as we know it. On the other part, TBA, I'll be sharing updates of my own story and 2025 vision as it unfolds. Let's go. Let's grow. #TogetherWeThrive.
