We are LIVE!
This will be a short one (kinda)
After months of publicly sharing our startup journey with you, I am happy to announce that our training platform is finally live!
We are completely exhausted, overjoyed and left with an incredible feeling of accomplishment.
As I shared in my previous entry, everything was on fire for a while.
In the end, we had to change our platform completely because of severe development delays. That led to us having to work 14 hours per day, at least to transfer everything into the new environment.
But it was all worth it.
I want to share with you today the importance of your company's vision and mission when you are starting a new venture.
The task is hard AF, and you will be discouraged, disappointed, and at a complete loss for what to do next. For that exact reason, I've seen many Founders quit either before or just after the launch of their product or service.
What kept us going through all the turbulence was our vision, our "why" in doing what we do.
*I have also created a guide on how to create a comprehensive vision/mission statement here.

I know that all investors and most founders are focusing solely on making money.
However, I strongly believe that for creating something from scratch, money as a motivator is not enough.
As people, we need more. We need a reason to get up in the morning. To put that extra 10 hours of work in the weekend. To prioritise building your company over social activities. To focus down and preserve when everything is going to absolute sh*t for a while.
My advice:
Don't disregard your vision. Focusing only on an exit strategy won't get you past the hardships of building a company. Zero down to your "why", as it will be your best weapon when things get rough. And it will get rough.
Lastly, I want to obviously invite you all to:
a) Give me feedback on our mission statement
b) Check out our platform, it's very cool, I promise XD
I will update you all in a few days about our findings from our launch!
Until then, have a great week.
