Are we ready to Integrate Education to create High Impact through NEP 2020?
Successful launch of Chandrayan -3 has certainly set our aspirations soaring to the moon and beyond! India is no more a country of snake charmers but a country taking pride where India is at world #1 in IT, IT Services, Digital Payment and Digital Consumption to name a few. Startups are further fuelling our ambitions.
Now, we are undertaking to educate and transform a sixth of world population and world highest number of youngsters and create hundreds of millions jobs, unprecedented in the human history.
NEP 2020 with its intent, policy, structure, processes and guidance aims to transform education. This transformation would be one of a kind and unprecedented in human history in scope, range, quality, cost and reach.
Even when we leave academics challenges for next discussion, let's ponder for now on "Integration" aspect of "Colleges" to "Universities Campuses" and to "Companies". Are these 3 C's aligned to create the impact at country and world level?
Boil your cup of water and don't worry about boiling the ocean, seems to be the norm at the 3C's. Here lies the challenge and huge opportunity too for Colleges, Universities and Companies, to pitch in and create a world impact at these very intersections. Many will not be undertaking these challenges hence will be wiped off soon whereas new players with their agility and clarity of purpose, take a lead and impact India and the world. A credit of 2 (eg Student Induction and Development Program) done seriously is what will make the difference and will be the game changer!
Many in the academic and corporate world have to fathom that a small but meaningful change can have a very high impact! Also, where one is staking all the resources and efforts may have a little value, in a highly transformative world. eg focusing just on traditional academics which is outcome based, not impact!
When what is the most needed and central to transformation, gets into an add ons or side tracked then something vital is missing which needs immediate attention. We are also doing, a check in the box mind set will not do.
We at Trikaya Cosmos Pvt. Ltd. have designed specific orientation and development programs for Induction of students (as freshers) in the University Campuses (College to Campus) and also Campus to Company. Facilitating both is a crucial "Faculty Transformation Programs". Supplementing these further are Management Trainee and Graduate Engineer Trainee Programs for Corporates.

A complete change in perspective is required and for that you must have right and diverse people on board to drive it through.
The journey may not be comfortable but very enriching and rewarding too provided we take help and engage talent and effort where needed.
Let's chart out a new journey with clear structure, processes and plan.

1yIt's really not about the WHY of resetting our approach. It's to do with HOW. HOW do we develop courses related to Building in genuine Employability in Super Society 5.0 for Graduating Engineers and BBA+MBA Students. At the same time, HOW do we ReSkill+Upskill all Working Professions. I have developed the HOW APPROACH for both. Pl see my website learning10x.biz #Employability #reskill #upskill #transform

1yAcademicians, administrators, human resource professionals, and corporate CEOs all play a vital role in this transformation. It is essential for each stakeholder to pause, reflect, and reset their approach to education and the workforce. Embracing the changes brought about by NEP 2020 requires a willingness to adapt, think outside the box, and challenge existing norms.
