  1. AI - Ai Build, a company that offers a cloud-based solution designed to reduce costs, delivery times, and material waste in the 3D printing production process, has raised $8.5 million in an A round.
  2. Metal - EOS launches the Al5X1, a new aluminum alloy for laser on a powder bed printing with improved mechanical properties.
  3. Metal - China's BLT has launched a twenty-laser version of its BLT-S800 printer with a build volume of 800 x 800 x 600mm.
  4. Large format - Modix from Israel unveils a new FDM printer, the Core-Meter, with a print volume of 1 cubic meter and a price of only 6,900 dollars.
  5. SoftwareReplique has launched a comprehensive and open-source database of 3D printable materials.
  6. Software - Dubai-based LEAP 71 has released PicoGK, an open-source software for computational engineering. Especially suitable for industrial 3D printing production.

  9. FDM/FFFGerman chemical company Evonik has developed carbon fiber reinforced PEEK filaments for 3D printed medical implants.
  10. Space - The American Space Agency has successfully printed a nozzle for a rocket engine for space missions from aluminum with a unique design to reduce weight and improve cooling.
