🇦🇺 This Week in Australian Startups #100, 29th December 2024

Short and sweet to round out the year, with just the two funding rounds announced. As expected at this time of the year, most companies are likely opting to hold till the new year picks up again in mid to late January before publicly announcing.

It’s been interesting to compare funding activity in December year on year.

*The Average Raise amount does not factor in the Undisclosed Amounts

As a reminder, I only track publicly announced funding rounds from Australian technology companies and startups - this includes venture capital, crowdfunding and any capital raises in public markets from technology companies.

But just taking December as a snapshot as we head into 2025, a lot of positive signals. Make sure to follow Cut Through Venture on LinkedIn as the 2024 State of Australian Startup Funding report will be released early next year - checkout the 2023 Report here.

There’ll be no update next week, with a bit of time off and a slower news cycle with little meaningful news and funding rounds to curate.
