This Week in Change Management - January 16, 2023

Welcome to 2023! Is it too late to say that?

Well, if you listened to the "experts" most of us, upwards of 90% according to Inc.com, have abandoned their new years resolutions.

Our first episode of That Change Show for the year was, for starters, rolling our eyes at that 'stat', and second, questioning the true value of the annual ceremony of new year's resolutions.

Coaching Agile Transitions and Enterprise Transformation with Lean Change

We're in the final stretches of updating our IC Agile accredited courses as they've shuffled some things around in the Enterprise Coaching Track.

Coaching Agile Transitions becomes a 3-day course, while Enterprise Transformation shrinks to 2 days. Along with these changes comes a revamp to all of our learning materials!

Most of our trainers sketch the lessons in their classes, but we realize the value that slides bring to some people!

Speaking of trainers, we'd like to welcome Samantha Sadie as our newest facilitator! Samantha, or as she likes to be called, "Sadie" :-), joined at the end of 2022 and is already getting started with running workshops next week!

Ron Leeman posted some cool 'tongue -in-cheek' predictions for change management in 2023. Check it out here.

While we were poking around for more interesting 2023 'trends', we did notice a disturbing trend of copy/paste, so take this for what you will.

May 2022: 7 Trends for Change Management in 2023. Hmm, early prediction?

Dec 5, 2022: Top Five 2023 Change Management Trends, uh, featuring the exact same text as the previous article?

Eyeballs on content, that's all the matters. We think the biggest 2023 trend for change management will be the return of thinking.

Learn how to think and adapt in your context, forget the methods, frameworks, and the glut of 'best practices' that will litter Linked In over the coming months and get back to what matters:

Facilitating meaningful change.

We hope your start to 2023 was marvellous, we're looking forward to an incredible year!
