Weekly recap EyeTools Questions of the Day. Week of Feb 21-25.
I hope you enjoyed this week's Questions of the Day and my responses. By way of reminder, here are the questions again.
Question of the Day #343
I was having a discussion with another eye care specialist and she told me that there is a link between dementia and poor visual acuity. Is this correct?
Question of the Day #344
I see a lot of older patients and many of them have cataract and/or age-related macular degeneration causing them problems with near vision activities such as reading. Some of them may benefit from high near adds such a +4.00 and higher but when I have tried a high add many patients reject them because of the reduced working distance. What can I do?
