We are excited to share that Astronergy once again ranked 'A' in the PV ModuleTech Bankability Ratings for Q2 2024!
Astronergy's ASTRO N series module products are featured with higher efficiency, remarkable power generation and cost-effectiveness. At SNEC 2024, we proudly received the “2024 Overall Highest Achiever” again from RETC (Renewable Energy Test Center) . Our n-type TOPCon PV modules outperformed the industry average in 10 tests, such as LETID Resistance test, Damp Heat test, PID Resistance, and more, highlighting our products' outstanding quality and enhanced reliability.
With increased investment in technology and product innovation, Astronergy continues to offer exceptional products that will drive a more sustainable world through solar power!
2. Haiyan Huang’s exclusive interview with Review Energy
Astronergy Leadership Insights! Haiyan Huang, EVP & CSO at Astronergy, had an exclusive interview with Review Energy during Intersolar Europe, where she introduced Astronergy's global strategies.
Ms. Huang discussed Astronergy's commitment to strategic innovation, positioning us as one of the top-tier module manufacturers globally. Astronergy focuses on n-type technology because of its high industrial chain compatibility and cost-effectiveness for mass production. Our PV cell capacity is expected to reach 65GW, and PV module capacity will hit 76GW by 2024, with n-type TOPCon technology making up 91%.
She also highlighted that Astronergy has made significant strides in expanding our global footprint. Astronergy has established factories outside China in Thailand and Turkey.
In the future, we will continuously explore opportunities to grow our capacity in Europe, Australia, Canada, and other key markets, confirming our commitment to global growth and innovation in the industry. Dive into the full interview for more details!

4. Recap of Georgian Energy Exhibition and Forum
Astronergy was thrilled to show up at the Georgian Energy Exhibition and Forum in Georgia from July 4th to 5th! Archil Zarnadze , our Regional Director-Caucasus & Central Asia, was invited to speak at a panel discussion, introducing the advanced technologies and outstanding performances of Astronergy's n-type TOPCon PV modules to local clients.
Georgia, with its impressive 250-280 sunny days and 1,900-2,200 sunshine hours annually, has immense potential for solar energy. To reduce dependence on energy imports and increase the country's energy security, Georgia presented a draft National Energy and Climate Plan, to achieve a 27.4% share of renewable energy sources by 2030.

5. Highlights of Astronergy at Solar & Storage Live Vietnam
Thanks for the enthusiasm of everyone who visited Astronergy at Solar & Storage Live Vietnam ! Our booth was bustling with visitors eager to explore our module products and engage with our expert team.
The Vietnam solar market is projected to expand from 18.80GW in 2024 to 20.76GW by 2029. Astronergy is dedicated to supporting this expansion with ASTRO N n-type TOPCon PV modules, including ASTRO N7 for utility-scale applications and ASTRO N5s for residential installations.
ASTRO N5s is powered by n-type TOPCon 4.0 cell technology, which delivers a power output of 445W and a conversion efficiency of 22.8%. With a temperature coefficient of -0.29%/℃, ASTRO N5s can adapt to high temperatures, making it a perfect choice for applications in tropical regions like Vietnam. Being lightweight of only 21.3kg, ASTRO N5s allows for easy and one-person installation.

Pantera Energy , a World Bank-listed EPC company in Pakistan, offers its clients diverse renewable energy solutions. Astronergy is excited to supply our high-efficiency PV modules for Pantera's upcoming projects, enhancing their capabilities and expanding our footprint in Pakistan.
Bahum Associates (Pvt) Ltd , a leading trader in Pakistan's solar industry, has close connections with all the major EPC companies in Pakistan. As our distributor, Bahum Associates (Pvt) Ltd will play a crucial role in bringing Astronergy's innovative products to the local market.

Astronergy is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Pele Green Energy (PGE) to collaboratively develop renewable energy projects across the African continent over the next five years.

PV market news this week:
A new Foro Sella Renewable Energy Observatory report shows that 46 renewable energy projects with a total capacity of 3,526.5 MW in Spain secured administrative authorizations in the second quarter of the year. Solar dominated this quarter with 3,155.8 MW authorized, while wind accounted for just 390.7 MW. Authorized renewable capacity has reached 9,482 MW this year, with 7,109 MW from solar and 2,373 MW from wind.
Cumulative shipments of 210 mm PV modules surpassed 260 GW in the first quarter of this year. Market intelligence platform TrendForce says 210 mm n-type technology is “set to spearhead a new industrial revolution.” It expects 210mm modules to account for 78.29% of the large-format module market this year, increasing to 82.51% by 2027.
Italy’s regional governments approved 3.358 MW of solar in the first half of this year, with Sicily leading by approving around one-third of the total new capacity.
German solar developer Belectric is set to construct a 135 MW solar park near Aarhus, Denmark. The project, which was first announced during Intersolar Europe in June, will involve the installation of more than 220,000 modules and is expected to meet the electricity needs of over 30,000 households.
Amazon set a goal in 2019 to match all of the electricity consumed in its global operations with 100% renewable energy by 2030. The company announced recently that it achieved this target in 2023, seven years ahead of schedule.
Somalia’s Ministry of Energy and Water Resources has launched a tender for off-grid solar-plus-storage power plants to serve 46 education facilities in the southeast of the country. The deadline for bids is August 1.
