In this extract from the FCI Annual Review 2024, we explore the Roundtable Discussion where Richard Stehl (FCI Legal Committee Chairman) discussed the FCI Legal Study with Marek Dubovec, S.J.D. (International Law Institute); William Brydie-Watson, Esq. (UNIDROIT - International Institute for the Unification of Private Law); and Enga Kameni Ph.D (African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank)). At FCI's 55th Annual Meeting in Marrakech, FCI presented its latest Legal Study, a comprehensive analysis of the global legal and regulatory framework for factoring and trade receivables finance across 91 countries. This study, the most extensive of its kind, covers critical topics like local regulations, electronic communications, and dispute resolution. Led by R. Yüce UYANIK from the FCI Legal Committee, the study features insights from 58 new countries outside the EU, presented through clear charts and country-specific data to support market participants worldwide. >Read more
