WEF says nearly a quarter of global jobs will change in the next 5 years, here are the roles in focus
Nearly a quarter of global jobs will change in the next five years, according to the recent report by World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report. The report estimates that 69 million new jobs will be created by 2027 and 83 million will be eliminated. The key driver for job growth is going to be green transition and localisation of supply chains.
Further the adoption of technology and increased digital access will also create net job growth but with greater offsets from losses; slower economic growth, supply shortages and inflation pose the greatest risks to jobs Indicating that the immediate job losses will be due to factors other than technology.

Indian PM Narendra Modi has been urging both sides to ceasefire and return to dialogue as he chairs the G20 and has offered India’s assistance in doing so if the warring sides were ready, but there are no signs of ceasefire that one could see yet.

India's economic growth may rebound after 6-9 months of recessionary pressure
Slowing growth is a reality around the world currently and India is no exception. But the recessionary conditions globally may not last long and a rebound towards the end of this calendar year is likely. This was our projection at the beginning of calendar year 2023 and, four months into the year, things are panning out much in line with the script.
It is probably a time when we are facing more headwinds than tailwinds. A sweet time for investments, from a return point of view, would lie after some pain. The recession before the rebound is the theme for calendar year 2023.
