I will keep this first one as short as possible. My goal with the newsletter is to keep you posted on all things #thePOZCast, my top global career podcast, hiring news and trends from NHP Talent Group, and all things #thePOZcourse related.

This dude literally booked the OG Real Housewives crew and that is just the tip of his awesomeness-iceberg!

Working as an executive and casting director for 20 years at MTV Networks, Vinnie pioneered the way talent and artists claimed control of their narrative by making them hosts, stars, and even producers of their own hit series. To name just a few, Vinnie has worked with incredible talents such as Mandy Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Simpson, Beyoncé Carter, Russell Simmons, Nick Cannon, Lindsay Lohan and so many more. Having launched some of the most successful talent brands in modern pop culture, Vinnie continues to develop talent and talent-led projects and is an active member of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

E177: Christian "Boo" Boucousis

Aussie Fighter Pilot, Entrepreneur & Humanitarian.

At the age of 19 Boo was recruited into the Royal Australian Air Force as a pilot, one of only 400 trained over a 38 year period. After serving 11 years as an elite fighter pilot, Boo was medically discharged with a diagnosis of “bone-fusing” Ankylosing Spondylitis.

This was the catalyst that brought Boo some of the most challenging and emotionally stressful times of his life, through which he entered the next phase of his life; building disruptive businesses and helping others to do the same.

Today, Boo has founded a humanitarian business that develops projects on behalf of the United Nations, built the world’s tallest prefabricated modular hotel, and bought and revamped his favorite childhood magazine, Australian Aviation. Now as a life coach, author, and podcast host, he serves people in an entirely new way.

E179: Amy Malin: Trueheart: The Intersection of Hollywood and Philanthropy

Amy Malin is the cofounder of Trueheart and the Trueheart social impact search engine, a new platform that allows people to change the world with every search. Trueheart donates 80% of their net profits to six deserving non-profits who work to save lives, feed the hungry, protect the planet, promote animal welfare, fight for equality and support our youth.

For the last two decades, Amy has worked at the intersection of Hollywood and philanthropy. Amy’s expertise is connecting celebrities and purpose-driven brands with deserving nonprofits to raise millions of dollars for their noble causes while creating global media campaigns that shine a spotlight on their wonderful work.

Amy is a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. She hopes to help make the world a safer and more loving place for her children’s generation.
