Welcome Jennifer Richardson: The New WESOS Aurora Chapter Leader!

As we welcome the new year, the WESOS Aurora, IL Chapter is set to embark on an exciting new chapter of its own. Starting January 2025, Jennifer Richardson will step into the role of Chapter Leader, taking the reins from the remarkable Victoria Maldonado . While Victoria will be deeply missed, I couldn't be more thrilled about Jennifer's arrival. After getting to know her recently, I can confidently say she is the perfect person to carry forward the spirit of connection, collaboration, and empowerment that defines WESOS Aurora.

Jennifer brings an energy and authenticity that are simply magnetic. One of my first interactions with her perfectly captured her unique spirit. I texted her to share my excitement about meeting her in person, and her response was, "I am excited for you too! I am a delight." I laughed out loud and thought, “Oh my gosh, if only we could all see ourselves in that light!” That one sentence was a window into who Jennifer is—a beacon of positivity and self-assurance. She will undoubtedly bring that same light-hearted confidence to her role as a WESOS leader, inspiring others to embrace their own strengths and radiance.

Jennifer is relatively new to Illinois, having relocated from Atlanta, GA. Despite her recent move, she’s already making waves in the community with her business, Contained Madness, an organizing company born from her passion for helping women create harmony in their spaces and lives. As her WESOS profile so eloquently puts it:

"At Contained Madness, my mission is to help women reclaim their time, space, and peace of mind so they can live intentionally and thrive in the midst of life’s demands."

Jennifer’s commitment to intentional living and empowering others aligns beautifully with the WESOS mission of fostering authentic relationships and mutual support among women entrepreneurs.

As the WESOS Aurora Chapter Leader, Jennifer will be a tremendous resource for our Sisters, not only through her professional expertise but also through her warm personality and fun-loving spirit. She’s the kind of leader who makes everyone feel welcome, valued, and motivated to succeed.
