Based on the feedback I'm receiving and supported by statistics from Robert Half, it appears that the job market is on an upward trajectory. In fact, 57% of hiring managers are planning to add new permanent positions in 2024, indicating a promising outlook for job seekers. My feelings are this is mirrored throughout EMEA and the US too, based on recent conversations.
Despite economic challenges, unemployment rates remain low at around 4%, and the Indeed Job Posting Index is showing a higher level of activity compared to pre-pandemic levels in February 2020. This data suggests that despite the hurdles we've faced, we're steadily progressing towards a stronger economy.
In light of this encouraging trend, I'm delighted to announce two exciting additions to our upcoming newsletter.
