We're All Introverts
Love the way neuroscientist Andrew Huberman explains how our brains process dopamine (the feel-good hormone) differently, which is what increases or minimizes our need for social interaction. Introverts get their fix in a brief engagement with others, while extroverts need more social engagement to feel satisfied.
I have a different take on how we need to get our dopamine and/or oxytocin intake and that's through increasing our social engagement in a very specific way.
How?
Consciously and together.
Why?
Because we're all actually introverts - that's the expression of our egoism.
That's ultra self-concern.
That's why we're so obsessed with ourselves, and we're living in a world that totally encourages this behavior because it's good for business.

Instead of being so concerned about turning our extroverted nature to be more inverted or vice versa to balance things out, we really need to be more concerned about inverting our ego.
What needs to change?
Instead of being so concerned about turning our extroverted nature to be more inverted or vice versa to balance things out, we really need to be more concerned with inverting our ego.
Sooner or later all humans will need to go through this transformation. Of learning to balance things between us, meaning between our egos. What things? Our thoughts, desires, intentions. That will bring us to our ideal form in a far more efficient manner than focusing on ourselves.
We all need to learn how to accelerate this transition because as I'm always saying, none of this will come naturally. Changing human nature is a very slippery slope. Why? Because our ego is always pulling us in the opposite direction.
But from now on we need to be more focused on getting our dopamine fix together in a group that is focused on the same goal.
And if we're really pushing the envelope let's not settle for a feeling of satisfaction and the motivation that comes with the dopamine.
Let's take things up a notch by going for the oxytocin.
Oxytocin is the love hormone that gives us a rush of pleasure from connection.
It's a natural high we can experience together.
That's the happiness amplifier we're all searching for.

3moRather than directly inverting our ego, which is much harder, we should use our ego by transforming our desires.
