We’re in the midst of a mental health crisis. Here’s how design can help.

The mental and behavioral health landscape has shifted rapidly—even before the Covid pandemic—which has only exacerbated the challenges facing healthcare systems as they endeavor to provide effective care. At ZGF, we've seen firsthand how mental and behavioral health impacts the entire care continuum. Clients are forced to operate with Band-Aid solutions and workarounds, often in existing spaces ill-equipped for emerging models of care. Our response is to design tailored environments that support the changing needs of patients and staff, repair broken systems, and inspire hope and healing for all.
