What IS brain health, anyway?

It’s Brain Awareness Week, so, what better time to dive into what having a healthy brain actually means? AND (drumroll please!), announce our 10 pillars of braincare!

As you know, brain health and braincare are things we go on about all the time—but they remain fairly ambiguous terms. (For now! We’re on a mission to change that.)

A healthy brain needs top-notch braincare. That goes beyond the right nutrition (although that’s a big factor), it is also impacted by your lifestyle. Choosing to make braincare part of your daily routine protects your mental and physical health, now—and for your future.

How well-cared-for your brain is, governs how well it can do its job; to take care of you. We’ve created the 10 pillars of braincare to make this as simple as possible.

10 small habits to build into your everyday routine that are easy, you’ll love doing, and will make sure you’re taking care of your brain to boot.

Keep a close 👀 on @yourheights this week as we’ll be sharing expert braincare tips, ideas, and must-know info every day.

Even though it’s a concern that usually comes up later in life, brain health is the foundation for a thriving life at every age, influencing your education, relationships, career, and personal sense of fulfilment and happiness.

There’s actually no universally recognised definition—but, while various health organisations and agencies might have slightly different ways of talking about brain health, they all agree on some common factors:

A healthy brain has the power to vastly impact your life. It’s been linked to a longer lifespan, greater ability to handle stress, improved coordination and motor function, protection of your memory, supports your happiness, and helps you reach your goals (or your Heights 😉).
