What Color are Your Agile Coaches?
The philosophy behind Colors can be tracked back to when Hippocrates (460BC) established four distinct qualities of individuals: Sanguine, Choleric, Phlegmatic, and the Melancholic… and in Plato’s (428BC) theories about character and personality.
The Color Code Personality Profile also recognized as The Color Code or The People Code, devised by Dr. Taylor Hartman, divides personalities into four colors: Red (motivated by power), Blue (motivated by intimacy), White (motivated by peace), and Yellow (motivated by fun).

For those of us who don't understand we have a personality color, glance at the clothes we wear and the way we choose to decorate our home or office. Are there one or more colors we frequently choose? Then there will be the colors that reflect our personality and our deepest needs. Whether we like or dislike a color can be reliant on our own life experiences and our positive and negative associations to the color as well as our desire for the elements of that color.
This is not only applicable to coaches but also for Product Owners, scrum masters, Chapter managers and Tribe Managers, etc. Favorite Colors reveal our personality.

6ySounds like a good idea but a little inconsistent... seems to me many traits described are just repeated and described in a different ways in all the colors, in addition to these being far too detailed assumptions... Yellow types that call upon their family far too often but appreciate a high level of autonomy... I’d love to know where do you get this stuff.

6yNot to be all political or too on the nose, but if you’re going to use the color white, I recommend you list weaknesses like all the other colors. Hopefully I don’t have to explain why.
