What to do in Vegas while at #DevLearn

Before we get to discussing how to best to have fun, don't forget you told your boss you are going to #DevLearn to make your company more successful! We suggest you make the most of the conference - there is always something insightful to be learnt. That said, take time to relax as well. To that end, here is some of the post conference culture Vegas has to offer!

Restaurants

Mon Amie Gabi

This is one of our favorites. It's a casual French bistro located in the Paris hotel. If you sit outside, you will be able to watch dancing fountains at the Bellagio (more on that below!)

Delilah

This is the cool Vegas spot for locals. A mere peek into the restaurant will take you back in time to the old days. The cocktail menu is designed by some big name mixologists, and they serve the same famous dishes that put them on the map (i.e., carrot soufflé). Later at night, the restaurant becomes a club.

Mott 32

The spot if you're craving Chinese comfort food. Their specialty dish is peaking duck which takes 48 hours to prepare and about 10 minutes to eat!

Stripsteak

You are too tired to leave your hotel but want an awesome steak, look to go to Strip Steak. Chef Michael Mina has blended the American steakhouse with Japanese influences.

Shopping

Vegas has not only flagship designer shops but excellent outlet options. Let’s start with the high end. Crystal is Vegas’s version of Rodeo Drive. You’re talking not just shopping, but an architectural masterpiece. Second in luxury and price are The Forum shops at Caesar’s Palace. Don’t miss the free fall of Atlantis fountain show. Another excellent shopping spot where you can window shop from your gondola are the grand canal shops. If you want excellent choice at bargain prices, then don’t miss Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. Start off with an energising snack at the Cheesecake Factory and go to it!

Top Attractions

Let’s assume this is your last visit to Vegas for a while. Here are some attractions that can’t be missed!

Omega Mart

Their website says it all: "Astonishing. Unpredictable. Mind-bending. Omega Mart is the newest interactive and immersive art experience from Meow Wolf. Explore an extraordinary supermarket and discover portals leading to surreal worlds full of unexpected, art-filled landscapes in which to play."

Freemont Street

This old town Las Vegas pedestrian street is covered with lights illuminating the sky. There are street performers and entertainment to make sure you don’t get bored.

The Eiffel Tower

Found Six Stories above the hustle and bustle stands an observation deck with 360-degree views.

Gondola Rides at the Venetian

Feel romantic or just want to impress someone by taking them on a splendid ride? Skip Italy – you’re in Vegas! Hop on, close your eyes and bingo you’re in Venice without the hassle.

Dancing Fountains

For sure the best spectacle you can visit without having to reach for your wallet are the fountains at the Bellagio. They are closely choreographed with music.

There you go #Devlearn Professionals, have fun!
