What to do when existing customer ask you about current price?

Price, Now a days becoming the most challenging words in daily business. As a supplier or manufacturer or even brand are facing price challenge in their daily job.

There is many reason, your current supplier may ask you about the service or product price. Whenever you see suddenly your customer is asking about the price , you should be careful, because that is not something you can avoid. You need to understand there is something going on his mind and you need to find out the actual reason. So, when i face this sort of question i do below things to sail in right course

#First i say yes, that we will send you the price again, because that is the honor my customer deserve from me.

# Then i start chatting with him about the reason suddenly asking about the price, like their order is less with buyer, or any order increase? Price pressure from Buyer? How my price reduction can help him? Is he comparing only price with my competitors? What kind of service we are now providing him, does he well aware about it? Should i improve in any service which i miss last time? And finally try to fix another meeting before send him the final price, so it's ease the situation.

My each question is very important to my client. and i evaluate internally what is the impact if i loose the order or i keep it.

I Know all of you are doing the same, but i thought , i should share my one, so if any one have anything better pls do share with me also.
