What do you really want for 2022?
"I don't know what I want".
I hear this a lot.
Does it sound like you?
If only you could take life by the reins, make big decisions and set goals that make you want to jump out of bed every morning.
The last thing anyone really wants is to fall victim to others, of circumstance, and even of your own negative or limiting thinking.
It's easy to simply 'jog along' - there's nothing specifically wrong with that, but it can leave you questioning 'is this it'? I know that was exactly where I was before I started working with a coach.
If you focus on where you want to change your life, what goals would you set? And most importantly, what would be first on your list to tackle?
There are a number of areas where you may want to take control of your life. You may have lifestyle goals like meditating, exercising, eating healthier or thinking more positively. You may have career goals like going back to school, getting a promotion, or starting your own company. You may have personal goals like finding a partner or spouse, improving your finances, or buying a home.
Most often, the key to success with any goal is to focus and take small and manageable steps. For example, if you want to start a business then you'll ideally make a list of the steps required to achieve that goal. Each step can then be a smaller and more attainable goal.
But where to start?

Consider the following questions and ideas:
* What is a burning desire deep within you, a calling, voice, or nudge? This can be like an itch that is just desperate to be scratched. Sometimes, we can have a niggle or an intuition about something that just keeps coming back, surfacing and pointing us in a direction that we eventually can't ignore - what is that for you?
* What is something that will have a big impact on your life? Sometimes one goal on your list will become a defining moment for you. That can be the best place to start.
* What would be easy for you to achieve that you know you want to do? Create a pattern of success by starting with goals that you know you can complete. It'll help make empowerment part of your life.
* What feels necessary to move forward? Are you aware of being stuck somewhere - what is the key to unlocking that do you think?
* All things aside, out of all the things you 'could' focus on, what would give you the biggest smile or sense of inspiration? What goal do you want to focus on first? Pay attention to your thoughts and emotions about your goals. They're powerful signs that you're on the best path.
